- I do readings too! I have studied the Tarot for 38 years. I taught myself at first, but have had at least three capable teachers along the way, one of whom I am now residing with. I have branched out to other divination systems, but am most familiar with the Tarot, and will often describe life situations in terms of a card, as a 9 of Swords situation, or a 5 of Pentacles situation, or a Hanged Man situation, etc.

The Fun of Divination
I started practicing divination when I was still in college, when I was still at least nominally a Christian. I became fascinated with witchcraft. A couple friends and I started working with a Ouija board, and got quite startling results from it. I also started to read playing cards.
